Tifrah Warner, Ph.D.

My professional background has provided me a diverse spectrum of skills and insights, which all contribute to the opportunities offered here.

In terms of education, I have a Ph.D. in clinical developmental psychology, which I earned at York University in Canada. I earned my first and second psychology degrees in England and the USA. My earlier place of education, and birthplace, is Israel.

My academic experience spans over 30 years of teaching psychology at York University, mostly to 4th year students. This background is woven into all my programs, including three workshops that are directly based on projects from those classes.

Along with my academic work, I have maintained a small clinical practice. My practice, as my Welcome to Yourself work, was influenced by Milton H. Erickson’s approach, emphasizing trust in human potential for successful living, appreciation of internal resources, and tailoring sessions to the client’s individuality. My academic and clinical backgrounds have intersected in the various presentations and workshops I have given in professional and international conferences. I am a current member of: APA (American Psychological Association) and a retired member of CRPO (College of registered psychotherapists of Ontario), and OAMHP (Ontario association of mental health professionals).

My professional activities and skills are informed from yet another facet of my life. I have been studying and practicing yoga, breath-work, and meditation for over four decades. This has inspired the vision at the foundation of all my programs: vision of the vastness of human nature and of the richness of human potential.
