Uncover messages embedded in any period of your past by following a sequence of writing, analysis and synthesis assignments. The assignments are based on academic research methodology. .

Invitation

Open up to insights and wisdom embedded in an experience of your choice. The main elements of this program are writing and investigative tools.

This is not about learning how to write; it is about using writing as a tool to access and to analyze past experiences. Writing assignments follow academic research methodology. Workshop sessions are interactive and guide you through the research steps.

The main adventure happens at home when you take time to investigate a segment of your life. The adventure culminates when you merge your findings to create a fuller story of your experience.

Format

  • 10 workshops over 11 weeks

  • 1.5-2hrs per workshop

  • 6 - 12 participants

  • Live and interactive via video conferencing

Phases

  • Phase 1: Creating a framework for the writing process

  • Phase 2: Writing to generate ‘data’

  • Phase 3: Discovery of metaphors

  • Phase 4: Discovery of themes

  • Phase 5: Discovery of order within the themes

  • Phase 6: Writing up your story

    (Phases 1 & 3 consist of 1 workshop each, all other phases consist of 2 workshops each)

Dates

Workshops are scheduled on either Tuesdays or Thursdays. 6:30 EST. Alternate days and times are available upon request for groups of 6 or more.

Cost

$110 per workshop

Prior to first session, pay for one workshop

Prior to second session, pay for five workshops

Prior to the sixth session, pay for four workshops

Full commitment required after first session.
